My Story

Hi I am Donna Flynn. I have an unbridled passion for love and people. As a celebrant, guiding and helping people through one of the most important days of their lives is what drives and excites me. This will become obvious once you have met me ... you have been warned!

My aim is to personalise your thoughts and feelings and to make sure you walk away knowing I didn't just 'read off a script'. Your ceremony should raise a smile, provide heartfelt moments of laughter and emotion, shed a happy tear , make your hearts sing and leave your guests saying that was so 'you'. I will bring my deep expertise to your wedding, based on my 20 plus years of professional career working in the wedding and event industry. I live and breathe curating celebrations that are uniquely tailored, fun, light and heartfelt. I will have your back and it will be as if this wedding is my own, that's how much I will care about your celebration of love.

As a celebrant I have to do more than read the mood but also when the occasion and theme you want requires, play an active part of what is YOUR unique day and experience. There are no rules when it comes to weddings. Your day your way. 

A brilliant way to bring laughter and light is to play with wedding dress. If you're dreaming of a themed wedding and you want someone to officiate dressed as someone from Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel or even a Disney character anything fun you have in mind, talk to me. You can count on me to dress up with you and make your celebration 'pop'.

As soon as you meet me you will understand why people describe me as kind-hearted, passionate, funny, quirky and an energetic person. I've been described as a natural 'connector' of people, with the natural ability to make people feel comfortable and welcome.

Family and friends are everything to me and you will see and feel that is how I treat yours on your day!

As I live in Surry Hills I know all the good restaurants and I love to share time and experience friendships over great food and wine (ask me about my recommendations free of charge!).

I love walking, photography, meeting people, cherry ripes and i'm a mad movie and TV buff. I also love music and i'll find any excuse to attend a concert or music festival. Music is life. I absolutely love Abba, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift and Pink. Anything that's creative or artistic sparks my interest.
